We hope that you will find the contents of our site interesting, and if you are not currently an active member of Juniata Valley Senior Citizens, Inc., we hope that after browsing through our WebPage, you will choose to join our organization. If you have untapped energy and are anxious to participate in the joys of building and shaping a fantastic organization that serves the older citizens of our community, you are welcome to join us. If you are at a point in your life where you do not have any additional time or energy to participate in anything new, you are also welcome to join us. You do not even have to be a senior citizen to join our organization, as we have an Associate membership for $3 a year for people under 55 years of age. Regardless of what type of role you choose to play as a member of our organization, your membership will be appreciated and will help support our efforts toward enhancing the lives of the older folks in the Juniata Valley area.

If you already are a member of the organization, you may want to update your membership data while you browse through the Web-Site. Be sure to see if you can find yourself in any of the pictures contained in the Past Parties section of the site. Hopefully, these images will serve to bring back some warm memories of a good time in the past, shared with some fellow members.

We are eagerly looking forward to the coming year in terms of providing new programs to the senior citizens in the Juniata Valley. As our bylaws explicitly state, our reason for existence is "to develop and provide a comprehensive range of meaningful services and activities, including Recreational, Educational, Nutritional, and Health promotion programs for older persons in the Juniata Valley area of Huntingdon County."

Hopefully, you will agree that enhancing the quality of life for the senior citizens in the Juniata Valley is a rewarding experience that is well worth supporting. Please note that since we have been deemed to be a section 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service, if you should feel like making a contribution to help us achieve our goals, your contribution will be tax deductible as provided in the Internal Revenue Service Code.
