"Candy Project"

Our good friends Delbert & Joyce Rupert were originally from the Juniata Valley area and now reside in Chambers Hill, PA. At a Juniata Valley School Reunion dinner, they told us about their tremendous success in making and then selling chocolate covered eggs in the Harrisburg area. They invited us to observe their candy making process at the Chambers Hill Methodist Church facility and have consistently been very supportive in helping us get our candy making fund raising project off the ground. We are very grateful for all of their, and their associates from Chambers Hill, help. The picture below of Delbert and Joyce and their associates was taken at the church in Chambers Hill. The other pictures were taken at the Juniata Valley Senior Center in Petersburg, PA and represent the fruits of our first successful candy making project.
